PRAGUE Summer 2023
Gain professional strategic marketing experience working with a global brand in the Czech Republic!
This hybrid, experiential course provides students with a professional strategic marketing experience that expands global awareness. Students will have the Opportunity to work with marketing and editorial teams of a European company, develop a strategic marketing plan for the magazine and present it to the magazine leadership. In the process, they will understand how cultural differences impact marketing strategies. While in Prague, students will be immersed in a culturally rich city and its historically significant environs. They will visit several significant sites in and around Prague to learn about teh culture, history, and life in the Czech Republic.

This course focuses on case study review and discussion of global marketing issues in Europe and specifically the EU (European Union). Students apply basic marketing principles to real life problem solving situations. Students will have the opportunity to interface with advertising agency personnel from a Prague company.

COSTS:
There are three areas of costs for you to consider:
Tuition: Summer 2023 tuition rates apply in addition to the Special Course Fee.
Special Course Fee: Estimated $2500. The special course fee includes housing, classroom facilities, field trips and entrance fees, and transportation associated with program activities.
Airfare, meals, spending money, etc. These are your responsibility. (Airfares vary widely, depending upon a variety of factors, running from approximately $1500.)
ACCEPTANCE AND DEPOSIT:
Once you are accepted to the program, a $750 deposit is required to hold your space. This deposit will be applied to the Special Course Fee.
