Marketing in Europe: Paris
BUSE 406 / 506 - 3 credits

While studying abroad in Paris, students explore how marketing is critically linked to a firm’s global business objectives and they investigate how marketing and communication are influenced by cultural diversity. Students compare and contrast international marketing practices and business processes, and how these are impacted by cultural differences from a European perspective. Students use storytelling as an integral part of creating an effective marketing strategy.

COSTS:
There are three areas of costs for you to consider:
Tuition: J-term is part of the Spring semester. If registering for the Paris course brings you to full-time status (12-15 credit hours), there is no additional tuition cost for the Spring semester. There is a non refundable fee of $750.00 that will go towards your special course fee. This fee will hold your seat for the course.
Special Course Fee: $3,300. The special course fee includes housing, classroom facilities, some field trips and entrance fees, and activities fees associated with the program.
Airfare, meals, spending money, local transportation, etc. These are your responsibility. (Airfares vary widely, depending upon a variety of factors, running from approximately $700 to $1000.)
ACCEPTANCE AND DEPOSIT:
Once you are accepted to the program, a $750 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space. This deposit will be applied to the $3,300 Special Course Fee.
